Review: The Knife – “Silent Shout”

This Stockholm outfit’s latest offering delivers what’s expected: a dark and occasionally surrealist mix of atmospheric electronica.

The 11-song outing sometimes feels unsure whether it’s aiming fir throbbing dance-hall speakers or gallery walls but, even in the disconnect, it’s difficult to overlook the duo’s ability to sculpt enveloping soundscapes.

Favorite Track: “We Share Our Mother’s Health”
