Review: Aceyalone – Magnificent City

With radio waves pulsing with reggaeton, “All For U” resonates with vaguely sun-splashed bass grooves but, that aside, this 14-song disc feels like a canvas splattered with too many colors, an outing where little sticks.

There’s funk breakdowns, outdated synths and a marijuana tribute complete with piano and soul singers. You’ll find yourself waiting for the kitchen sink.
